The Time is NOW!
The time for sitting on the fence of indecision is fast coming to an end; we can no longer straddle the fence for one way or the other. The middle of the road is also at an end, we must stand on one side of it or the other. We have two roads the broad, the narrow before us. One is filled with the worldly and the other with the heavenly things. Which are you choosing? For whom will you stand? We have two choices here as well, for Christ or for Satan, One to salvation the other to damnation.
Jesus said in Revelation 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
Do we want to be spewed out of the mouth of Christ because we go off in two directions and cannot make up our minds to stay with the truth and go after winds of false doctrine?
Matthew 5:37 says But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
Will your yea be yea and your nay be nay when it comes to your decision?
If we cannot make a decision one way or another for Christ, we will be left behind to face the consequences of our actions and miss out on the wonders and beauties of heaven.
Our indecisions will cost us our lives if we do not stand for Christ NOW. We know the truth, we all have read the Bible and the words of Ellen White that God gave her to speak to us, therefore why go to foreign places to seek out God’s Word when we already have it. New light can be found in the pages of God’s Word, I see it often every time I read over something that I missed as the last reading, to me that is new light. The one person that we must not offend is the Holy Spirit, for we cannot dare to lose His counsel and protection when it comes to the Word of God our Father. If we overstep our boundaries and seek out other avenues contrary to what God has shown us we will lose His presence in our lives. I am speaking of other websites and pastors who twist the truth to their own advantage to corrupt and pollute the minds of Christ’s followers. Be very careful of the accolades of man, the patting on the back of things that God has given you as gifts and what you portray as being of your own making. Everything that God has given you is His to be taken away again if abused by us.
Music that He gives us has been corrupted by Satan with pipes in his throat which once filled heaven with angelic music. Today that music has been polluted with anger and deception to turn the hearts of God’s people toward Satan. Men who have been given the gift of music and song by God have had their heads turned by the populace who Satan works through to deceive these men into thinking it was their idea for the words that the glory should go to them and not to God. As history has shown the people can be with you one moment and killing you the next, be very careful in whom you serve, you cannot have two masters.
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
We cannot serve the world and God, we must make a stand NOW whom shall we serve.
Whom will you stand for? Read these verses, look into your hearts for the answer, and let the Holy Spirit convict you to stand for God and God alone.
Mat 12:25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
Mar 3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
Mar 3:25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
We cannot be divided as a group we must believe in it all or not, we cannot mix truth and error, like a building it will fall, the mortar will crumble due to strife among the ranks, it will not stand.
Mat 20:6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
God calls us when we stand Idle to come and work for Him in the vineyard which is the world. Will you stand idle, indecisive, confused as to what and where you belong, and must do? Will you heed the call of your Creator and God and do His will and not your own?
Luk 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
Do we want to be the ones who are knocking at the door asking the Lord to let us in when we were the ones who turned our backs on Him by seeking after the winds of false doctrines? We may think we are doing His will, but are we really. We must examine ourselves very closely to make sure we are giving the lost the TRUE doctrine of Christ and not the manmade version.
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Are we watching and praying, are we worthy to stand before God when the time comes. Will we be the ones to escape the wrath of God when Christ returns?
Act 26:6 And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers:
We all will be judged on what we do here on this earth and on the decisions we make. Therefore, make the right decision to stand for God.
Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
God gives us grace which we must ask for, God does not freely give us grace, and it is with this grace and the discernment we also ask of God that helps us to stand for our faith and our God.
1Co 15:30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
Those who follow Christ are in jeopardy every hour because we will not forsake Him or His commandments. We have made the decision that He is worth the trials in order to be with Him forever in heaven.
1Co 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
We are to watch, be prepared, stay strong in our faith, be men of good standing in the favor of our God and to be an example to others.
2Co 1:24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
No one has power of authority over your faith, unless, you give them that power. God is our King, Creator, and our Father to Him only do we have to answer for what we do here on this earth. We are to be helpers to each other and to help each other stand strong in our faith.
Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
We are to go forward and not back in our walk with Christ. What we left behind, our bad habits, and life styles God has made us free with His Word with His truth. We are no longer in bondage to false doctrines unless we slide back and let it be so.
Christ is telling us not to become entangled in false doctrine, or in our past. Go forward and be free.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
All of us who follow Christ need this armor. Not just part of the armor but all of it. We cannot defeat Satan with only a portion of the Word, but we need ALL of the Word to protect ourselves from him.
Php 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
Christ expects us to be one with Him and we must also be one with each other. What does He say? To be ONE in Spirit and ONE mind striving together for the faith of the gospel. We are to be like a well-oiled machine all the parts working together, not going off in different directions seeking out other doctrines and ideas. What God has given us is all we need; we need nothing more than that.
1Th 3:8 For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
IF we stand fast, we will live with the Lord. Therefore let us put away from us things that will keep us from the Lord.
2Th 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
What has God taught us, “To hold fast to the doctrine of Christ, or to the doctrines of men?” He taught us to hold fast to the Doctrine of Christ, to hold fast to those traditions HE gave us, not the ones man gave us.
Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
God’s wrath is coming in the power of Christ. On that great day will we be able to stand? Will we be able to hear Him say, “Come good and faithful servant for keeping ALL of my commandments and for staying with ALL MY Doctrines and teachings? We are to follow after Christ and His doctrine and not after the accolades of men, after their praise for the things God has given us. Of ourselves we can do nothing, we need God for everything in our lives. Man cannot do that for us.
Only man can pat you on the back and twist the knife in it at the same time.
Whom do you trust? Whom do you serve? Whom do you stand for?
Do not wait too long; time is short, get off the fence.
